The Whole Kitchen Sink
Part 'Kermit defending the integrity of the show from Statler and Waldorf's incessant heckling', part 'reluctant psychiatric patient desperately parrying his therapist's penetrating inquiries', Ricky Puffer's new meta-novel playfully explores both the process and the purpose of his writings, and writing in general. A 'side-running commentary' in which an 'unvoiced other' gives a fictional version of the author a 'thorough hectoring' opens a path for said author to examine his three 'unfinished', or at least 'unpublished' novels in great detail - and the zany antics ensue.

A short account
Ricky Puffer lives in the fictional town of Fishington, Massachusetts with his wife and two children, or at least did until the oldest one escaped to the West. He has been known to hitchhike around the country, build stone walls, climb mountains, play soccer, drive a team of draft horses, grow vegetables, log trees, refurbish old houses, walk in the woods, drink copious amounts of alcohol, dance madly to jam rock bands, meditate, practice yoga, and stretch the boundaries of the universe with mind-expanding drugs but, seeing as he is now only a shell of his former self, mostly just putters in the garden and writes books these days.
